Plan a chocolate corporate gift basket
Chocolate can be a pleasant workplace thank-you when the recipient is allowed to accept it and wants it. The decision is not simply how large a basket looks. Decide whether one team will share a labeled assortment or each person will receive a smaller gift, then check the full order before paying.
Check policy before choosing chocolate
Ask about value limits, gifts to clients or vendors, and whether a supervisor may give the same thing to every team member. A card or nonfood choice may be more appropriate when gifts are restricted. Avoid a gift timed to a purchasing decision or one that asks the recipient to display your logo.

Choose for the number of recipients
For an office, use individually wrapped pieces with clear labels and a quantity that makes sharing practical. For an individual, a small box chosen from their stated preference can be enough. Ask an appropriate contact whether chocolate is welcome and whether a nonfood alternative should be offered; do not collect unnecessary medical details.

Read labels and storage directions
Chocolate assortments can contain milk, nuts and other ingredients that matter to recipients. Keep each product’s original package and ingredient information available. Do not describe a basket as safe for everyone or assume that a photo reveals every ingredient. Follow the maker’s storage directions and avoid sending heat-sensitive items through an unverified route.

Approve one exact order
Confirm item count, package sizes, unit and shipping costs, substitutions, message wording, address and recipient availability. A sample can help for a repeated order. Keep a private order record only as long as it is needed. If the chosen chocolate is unavailable, reapprove the substitution rather than silently changing the gift.
